Sitting Pretty Bench Auction & Dinner

Rocky River Junior Women’s Club (RRJWC) has launched its “Sitting Pretty” event by placing a multitude of hand-crafted, Amish-made custom painted benches and Adirondack chairs around the city.
After displaying the benches and chairs around the city for the summer, the Sitting Pretty event culminates in an Auction and Dinner on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at The Cleveland Yachting Club. Tickets are $60 per person and include food stations, cash bar and live entertainment. Net proceeds from the event will benefit a variety of local civic, educational and charitable organizations. In addition to the live auction for the benches and chairs, the event will feature a raffle for hand-painted children’s picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Raffle tickets can be purchased online (see link above) as well as the night of the auction.
More than 20 local artists donated their talents to create these one-of-a-kind works of art. Artists range from a professional theatrical scenic designer, to teachers of art to gifted students.
