Membership is $30 per year (online registration is $31 to cover a PayPal handling fee).
Membership Requirements Any woman who is interested in joining RRWC is eligible for membership provided they are at least 21 years of age and a resident within the Rocky River school district or own a business in Rocky River. All members are encouraged to volunteer a minimum of six hours of service to the club per year. Membership fees cover such expenses as programs at general meetings and monthly newsletters. Prospective members may join at any time of the year (membership fees will be prorated if joining after January 31st).
Meetings General meetings are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of each month from September through May. Meetings start at 7 p.m. with a half hour to socialize with other members. The business portion of the meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. and is followed by a program of interest to the group. These meetings and programs are a great way to connect with other members while learning some new skills or gaining new perspectives. Recent programs have covered a variety of topics including: interior design instruction; cooking / baking demonstration; exercise and fitness; and talks with local media and journalism personalities.
Opportunities for Socializing and Fellowship The RRWC offers a wide variety of social outlets for all of its members through social events and fellowship clubs. Socials are usually held in the spring and fall, and have included events such as a clambake party, a bowling party and other seasonal parties.

The fellowship program offers a wide variety of clubs catering to the diverse interests shared by our members. Some of these clubs include: euchre club, potluck dinner club, book club, stitching club and tennis club. The clubs are a great way to meet other members in a very casual setting. Details about the clubs are outlined below.
Euchre Card Club The Euchre Card Club is open to all juniors and their partners. The Card Club meets every other month starting in January and ending in August. Each member will host one evening with three other members and their partners as guests. This allows two card games to be played at the same time. The evening usually lasts from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on an evening of the hostess’ choice. The hostess is responsible for providing the beverages, and each guest brings an appetizer/snack.
Potluck Dinner Club The Potluck Dinner Club is open to all RRWC members and their spouses/significant other. The dinner club meets once every two months starting in January and ending in August. Each member will host one dinner with three other members (and their spouses/guest) attending. The hostess will provide the main meal, while the guests bring an appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Dinners are usually held on a weekend night of the hostess’ choice. This is a great way to meet new friends in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere.
Book Club The Book Club is open to all RRWC members and meets every six weeks year-round. Watch the newsletter for book selections and hostess locations.
Stitching Club The Stitching Club is open to all RRWC members. This club meets once a month and is a great way to relax and meet other members while stitching away! Watch the newsletter for dates and hostess locations.
Tennis Club All skill levels are encouraged to sign up. The time commitment would be one day or night per week (or more if you desire).
